Set 1: the three books only use words and sentences comprised of the first 6 sounds – s, a, t, i, p and n. The books are Ants, Tips and Snap.
Set 2: the three books only use words and sentences comprised of the first 12 sounds – s, a, t, i, p, n, c, k, e, h, r, m and d. The books are Hen and Cats Picnic, Pet Picnic and Dad’s Red Tent.
Set 3: based on the first 18 sounds and the books are: Golf is not Fun, Brett’s Dragon and Duck Gets Stuck.
Set 4: based on the first 24 sounds and the books are: Just a Storm, Red Jack’s Fort and Jaiden’s Lies.
Set 5: based on the first 30 sounds and the books are: A Hospital Visit, A Pong at oakwood Zoo and Seven Elves.

A small number of tricky words are included in the final set of books. Comprehension questions and discussion topics are provided at the end of each book. Each book also includes guidance for teachers and parents. Light type is used as a guide for those few letters that should not be sounded out, such as the /b/ in lamb.
This is the collection of books that all schools have been eagerly awaiting for Junior Infants.
