I Wonder Why Collection 20 Books Set

48.95

Senior Class Lesson Idea:

The following is the basis of a GREAT LESSON based on the “I Wonder Why?” collection of 20 books.

“Asking questions is what brains were born to do, at least when we were young children. For children, quite literally, seeking explanations is as deeply rooted a drive as seeking food or water.”

I Wonder Why Collection

  1. Read: have each child select and read one of the “I Wonder Why?” books. Each is well written and illustrated.
  2. Prepare: Based on their own reading of the book, they must prepare a presentation to orally communicate to their class peers, the answer to the ‘wondering question’.
  3. Present: they make the presentation of the information to their classmates, perhaps with the use of one prop, and take & answer follow up questions.

Note: children can also ask, research and answer their own ‘I Wonder Why’ question. Perhaps they can research, write up, illustrate and self-publish / bind  their own ‘informational book’.

What a project!
